Sailing North to Antigua
April 2, 2009

We arrived in Falmouth Harbor, Antigua after 27 hours of sailing from St. Lucia. The anchorage is already crowded with big, beautiful yachts who have arrived for the Classic Race Week regatta in two weeks. Our sail here has been one of our best long crossings in a while and we're enjoying the calm anchorage. We have found a number of dive shops in the area that look interesting and we hope to get in the water soon.

Tobago Cays and St. Lucia

World ARC.
The ARC world boats during their victory lap in Castries.

After 23,000 miles and 15 months around the world, the boats returned to St. Lucia from where they started. We sailed down to Castries with our friends Evelyn and Terry on Aquarelle to greet the incoming boats as they made a victory lap around the harbor before ending at the final finish line in Rodney Bay.

Tobago Cays

The anchorage in Tobago Cays in The Grenadines. Despite the fact that the anchorage is usually crowded, the area is beautiful and unspoiled with wonderful snorkeling. We could only stay there for 4 days, but we will be back for more.
